SALES CONSULTANT
Our Sales Consultants are responsible for increasing sales by obtaining national accounts. This position will require developing relationships and maintaining these relationships. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
- Call on potential clients and establish accounts.
- Consult with clients and propose custom signage solutions to close deals.
- Gather client business and technical requirements and translate concepts/ideas to written documents.
- Work as a cohesive team between Account Management, Design, Accounting, and Outside Operations.
- Serve as a liaison between our company and customers.
- Manage customer relationships and expectations regarding products and services.
Required Skills
- Must be able to obtain and maintain approximately 2 million dollars in sales.
- Sign experience is highly preferred but not necessary.
- Must be able to read shop drawings and understand the industry.
- Must demonstrate a strong sales orientation and selling skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, overcome objections and establish and meet goals/quotes.
- Mac OSX and Microsoft Office proficient.
- Must have a professional presentation and excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Regular travel.
ACCOUNT MANAGER
Account Management is one of the most vital roles within our company. This team is the blood of the project and keeps the entire process flowing from obtaining quotes on the front end to invoicing on the back end of every project. Responsibilities include the following:
- Analyze project needs by evaluating site survey details and customer desires to ultimately understand the “big picture”.
- Managing projects throughout the entire lifecycle from surveying, identifying project needs, product/labor sourcing, job costing, contract processing, permitting, production, and installation.
- Gather client business and technical requirements and translate concepts/ideas to written documents.
- Accurately articulate project requirements to partnering Vendors for the purchasing of product and labor services.
- Collaborate with people from other business sectors such as engineering firms, construction companies, manufacturers, and sub-contractors locally and nationally.
- Hiring vendors locally and nationally to assist with installation of the signage.
- Performing code checks with municipalities to determine signage allowances for each job location.
- Working directly with the customer, sales and design.
Required Skills
- The ability to function in a professional, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work as a team player.
- The ability to grasp the entire process of an installation.
- Mac OSX proficient.
- Microsoft Office with a focus on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Previous experience in Project Management is preferred.
- An Associates/Bachelors degree in Business or related field. A Bachelors degree is preferred.
